INDOOR GREENS GARDENING

INDOOR GREENS GARDENING

Usually when you read about indoor gardening it has to do with growing sprouts. Sprouts are fun and easy but let’s face it they are an acquired taste. I have been growing and eating sprouts for decades yet even my taste buds needed to be coaxed into liking sprouts. The first time I ate them I almost spit them out, I did not like the freshly mowed grass taste of chlorophyll.

As my body cleaned out and I ate more vegetables the pallet also cleaned up and I grew to enjoy eating sprouts. When  I managed the Sprout Farm I did the demos at the grocers. You know, those ladies that go around asking you to taste things while a pyramid tower of the demo product sits at her elbow. I was that lady, the sprout chick hawking the delights of sprouts and their varied taste sensations.

Here is all you need to know to grow a lovely crop of Sunflower Greens on your kitchen counter.
